At first glance, the TVS Jupiter CNG mirrors the beloved design of its petrol counterpart, the Jupiter 125. The sleek lines and comfortable ergonomics remain, but a closer look reveals a subtle yet significant addition a CNG sticker adorning the front, symbolizing its eco-friendly upgrade.
Dual Fuel Efficiency CNG and Petrol
Underneath its stylish exterior lies a groundbreaking bi-fuel system, allowing riders to seamlessly switch between CNG and petrol. The scooter houses a 1.4 kg CNG cylinder beneath the seat and a 2-litre petrol tank strategically placed in the floorboard. This configuration offers an impressive combined range of approximately 226 km, with the CNG mode alone delivering a remarkable mileage of 84 km per kg.

Powered by a 124.8cc single-cylinder engine, the Jupiter CNG produces 7.2 hp and 9.4 Nm of torque. While these figures are slightly lower than the petrol-only version, they are optimized for city riding, offering a top speed of 80.5 km/h. While TVS has not announced an official launch date, industry insiders anticipate the Jupiter CNG to hit the Indian market by late 2025 or early 2026. Pricing details remain under wraps, but it’s expected to be slightly higher than the current petrol models, which range from ₹79,540 to ₹90,721 ex-showroom, Delhi.
